Hi all, so as you know I fractured my coccyx two weeks ago... I've been taking codeine every day, but I'm running out. I understand you have to be careful with codeine as it's addictive, but my coccyx still really hurts and I'm not sure what to do :(
I understand this isn't really to do with diabetes, but I'm wondering if anyone else has been in my position! Thank you

Sorry to hear that, must be agony!

We all heal at different rates so it's possible that you may be taking slightly longer to heal than what the prescription your GP prescribed has allowed for. Longer healing can be a trait of T1D.

Providing that you've been sticking to the doses which your Dr has advised, there should be no issues in asking for an extension on your codeine. There is little point in putting yourself through excessive pain. @Chloesnavy.
