Hi I don't know if anyone here can shed some light on the freakiest experience of my life this morning but I just can't make any sense of it and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with low blood sugar. I am eating low carb and it has been going great but I am finding that if I'm not careful my blood sugar will quite often go too low. This morning I had just finished a long walk and I was about to start making an omelette for breakfast. I cut into the butter and sliced the knife straight through my finger down to the bone. I was fine, I put on a plaster and wrapped it in a cloth. There wasn't much bleeding and it stopped straight away. About 5 minutes afterwards I had the most intense feeling that I was going to pass out and my legs began to buckle, I held onto the bench so I wouldn't hit the floor. My partner came in and I grabbed hold of him and it seemed like I had no control over my body, I was jerking and shaking. I sat down on the couch and I felt like I was going to pass out and I was confused, I felt like I was dying (I never want this to happen again, worst experience of my life) then I had a drink of my coffee and it was all over. For the rest of the day I have felt horrible and I have had to take things slow. Has this happened to anyone else and do you think it has anything to do with blood sugar.
