Free fridge for benefit receivers

I previously have received replacement refrigerators as they are essential. It's been a couple of years and I do not recall how I acheived this on either occasion (memory issues) please if anyone can advise me oftof their experience 'how to'.
Insanely diabetes organisations have no advise to offer me!

My home contents insurance replaced my fridge several months ago for a power surge.

I have never heard of getting a free one when you're on benefits, it will not happen here in Australia any time soon.
