If you are newly diagnosed, or not, this free book called 'Taming the Tiger is really worth a read! The author compares the shock to the body caused from diagnosis with the shock of a heart attack. This is somewhat of a comfort to me, I was so devastated when told I had diabetes I have long felt I was making a babyish fuss!
Great read, written in people friendly language by a diabetic who works with diabetics.
