6 or 7 aren't bad numbers. But if you are saying you feel too low if you are below those numbers to be able to go to sleep, that is only because you are used to higher numbers. Once you get used to being at 6 or 7 more they won't bother you. But if you instead mean that if you go to bed at 6 or 7, that you will end up dropping too low at night, that is because you have to much Insulin in your system. It could be your basal is too high or your last meal and dosing amount is too high.
Yes the Libre can be off and when you dose, if you know it is off you need to do a finger stick to check what you are at. It seems to vary per person and per sensor. It will at least let you know which way you are trending so you can act on it if needed. If you have a choice the Dexcom G6 is more accurate because you can calibrate it. Although I am unsure about the Dexcom One.
