Freestyle Insulinx Test Strips

Is anyone else having problems in obtaining the test strips for the freestyle insulinx monitor? Our recent prescription could not be fulfilled as Boots were having difficulties in obtaining them. We were advised to go back to the doctors and ask them to write a new prescription, so we could try and obtain from another chemist.
