Freestyle Insulinx Test Strips

Is anyone else having problems in obtaining the test strips for the freestyle insulinx monitor? Our recent prescription could not be fulfilled as Boots were having difficulties in obtaining them. We were advised to go back to the doctors and ask them to write a new prescription, so we could try and obtain from another chemist.

Abbott's have difficulties keeping up supply of a lot of their testing strip etc. here in Australia also.

Freestyle Lite strips were in short supply here last year for a couple of months, so I used my Performa meter instead till they were available again.
