FreeStyle Libre 2 Alarms work, but scans don't

I have been using the FreeStyle Libre 2 with an iPhone SE 3rd Gen for about 7 months now, and I just started a new sensor, and when I go to check glucose it won't scan. It just stays on the Ready to scan picture and never gives a reading. I had about 10 'Your scan was unsuccessful, try again' and now nothing at all when I try to scan.

The funny thing though is that the alarms still work. I did a finger stick to find my actual glucose, then set the high glucose alarm to just below that, and sure enough it is going off. So it seems that the sensor still works, but something is off with the scans.

Anyone ever experience anything like this? Any fix I can make?

I will call Abbot tomorrow to see if I need a new sensor but wondering if anyone ever had anything like this happen.

I've had a sensor just stop a day into it, but in this case it seems like it is still sort of working.

Have you tried restarting the phone? I had a different Libre problem and restarting my phone fixed it. Worth a shot if you haven’t tried

There have been a number of reports of SEs having faulty NFC chips. People seem to have been successful in getting phones replaced in Apple stores.

I'm sure a search will find some detail here or on the diabetes.org.uk site.
