If I drag down the notification window, the grey bit shows the last reading and time and updates every 5 mins. It does that whether the app is maximised or minimised (sorry - not up to date with phone lingo!). There's no beep or anything like that which I'd get with a text - would get annoying every 5 minutes.I know next to nothing about phones, but have been curious whether there's maybe some app kicking about on the interweb which takes data from that grey bit and then does something depending on the value, like ring the phone if value is less than 4!
