Hi,
You're currently on holiday in a hot country? Are you staying hydrated enough..
Regarding the wound healing? I've never had these issues, especially when my BGs are OK.
(I've lost a fight with an angle grinder. & dropped a bayonet through my foot. plus a couple of washing up accidents with broken glass?)
Yeah I’m in a hot country and drinking plenty. Had to remove a sensor 4 days early because the app prompted me to. Inserted new one, it bled and then it didn’t stick, put tape around it and the tape it coming out. The sensor is literally floating on my arm about to fall off. Only brought 100 test strips because I was relying on bringing 3 sensors and 25 days left so I would have to check my BG only 4 times a day I guess. I have an unopened sensor but don’t want to risk another malfunction.
I know they give free replacements and I’ve previously asked for 2 but I wish they didn’t fail. Usually I don’t really have a problem with it sticking, I’m about 100% sure it’s due to the heat and my skin constantly sweating but the accuracy bit is the annoying thing.

You’ve been doing diabetes for ages so you probably have good control, my control has been pretty poor but my HbA1c is superficially 6% because of all the Libre inaccuracies and my consultant was thinking I’m doing so well apart from the frequent hypos, they’re in for a shock when they order an actual A1c test. I still have a mark on the back of my hand where it was cut accidentally 3 months ago before starting insulin, the wound has healed but you can still see a dark mark even though it has been ages and it was only a small cut
