I registered my interest with Abbott Australia a while back and received an email this morning saying that it is now available, with preference being given to insulin users.

The cost for the reader is $95.00, with an additional $95.00 per each sensor - initial limit of 2 sensors per customer.

If you are interested in purchasing and haven't already registered your interest, it might be a good time to do so ;)

Thanks. I have registered-user my interest tho atm is beyond my budget. I also have concerns in regards to the sticky used as I sweat excessively and have had great trouble with pain meds that require them to be stuck to my skin

yeh apparently the sensors only last 14 days... so that's $95 every 14 days. I was interested until I saw the cost. I've already lost income due to health so watching the budget.

That is cheaper than they are in the UK

Here we pay £57.95 per sensor (118 dollars)
Starter pack of reader and 2 sensors £159.95. (about 325 dollars)

Pleasantly surprised at the price, thought they'd be more than $95 considering the cost from the UK. I ordered a sensor yesterday as I have the reader already. Order status still 'Pick'. There doesn't seem to be a stater pack with two sensors and a reader like there is for UK.
