Freestyle Libre sensor came off..

Today I was a bit clumsy and hit my arm along the door.. and in the result the sensor came off.

It still had 9 days left, and that's what the reader thinks. My question is - Can i initiate a new sensor? On the reader i didn't find an option to start a new sensor. Can i just scan the new sensor and reader will automatically initiate that new sensor over the old one?
 
If you put a new sensor on, and then try to scan it the reader will ask you if you want to start a new sensor, hitting yes it will then ask you to scan the new sensor to activate it.

Unlucky about the door - we've all done it at some point!
 
I've found the slightest difference in the position of the sensor can make a huge difference. Also, I clonk my right arm far more than my left.

Basically the lower and further round it is, the better. Which is common sense of course, but I still had to have practical lessons in it!
