Hi there
I am new to this site but wanted to ask a question regarding the freestyle libre sensor.
I have been using the sensors for the last year or so and only experienced very few issues.
However when I changed my sensor today the needle remained in my arm when I removed the applicator.
This meant I had to physically pull the needle out as it had come detached from the applicator.
I wondered if this had happened to anyone else? As I am worried my sensor won’t work correctly now.
I have reported this to Abbott’s and they are sending me a replacement.
It has also kind of put me off the product as if I hadn’t of realised I imagine it would have really hurt if I laid down on it.
Anyone else experience this? Could it be the way I inserted it?
