Hi....
Can anyone tell me if the Freestyle Libre is available on the NHS if my daughter is under Barnet General Hospital??

LOT OF talk on freestyle libre that the NHS WILL FUND THE FREESTYLE sorry but it would seem like it will only be ava for pregnant mum with diabetes so we we are told by a good source in suffolk
i use one when thing are of track you may say so far has cost me £500 plus the the start up cost is about £150-00
50 for meter 50 for sensors it is brilliant bit of kit and can help a great deal to get the best control one can .so will be down to the good old finger priking 4/6 a day

IT'S my 3 year old daughter that's the T1D,and lately we've been having a mare going from highs to lows and vice versa!!

that a very tough one for me to help .
may be others on the forum can help.....
all i can say try to stick to meals times and stay with in carb== insulin ratio but that will be best to ask a nurse or any mum with a 3/4 in your area it as they say great to listen so ask for help in your area good luck ps i started when i was 12 vic
