I asked my diabetes nurse.Does anyone know where I can find out what my CCG's policy on Libre is?
It will come eventually. Everytime the ccg's are in the position of green lighting a drug/ device they play it this way. It will settle down. Meanwhile speak to you Consultant or DNSHi guys,
Like many of you, my CCG will not permit my GP to prescribe the Libre. I’ve today written to my local MP who may be able to put pressure on the CCG, worth a try anyway.
I wondered if anyone has gone down the same route and been successful?
Also, would it be worth others doing the same who are trying to obtain it without self funding?
Thanks

I've done the following, written to the P.M, written to my local M.P. written to the local CCG, contacted the local newspaper, had an article published in the paper and online, written to several national newspapers and --- zilch Local CCG not interested at all.
