Hi

I was given the above meter by my DN and I fidn it useful for finding out what spikes my blood and so on. But, although it has a USB connection, it doesn't support Mac OS. I have Yosemite 10.10.4 . Does anyone have a work around?

I've contacted Abbott but with no reply yet.

TIA

Billy

I was part of a group that was given the Neo at a DAFNE course in Australia, all of the group is not continue using the Neo as it did not give reliable readings. I've also had trouble with Abbott about Mac support and gave up, I now use Diasend to export my data.

Yes, I've found diasend too.
I also use the DAFNE app to record all my BGL and carbs, I like this as it immediately sends the data to the DAFNE online web site for my specialist team for review, no waiting for the next appt. Just love digital technology.......

Weird, i use an Abbott Freestyle meter, and has always worked with my Macbook Pro, running both Yosemite and Mavericks, never had an issue...

Is it a Freestyle Optium Neo? I think some of Abbott's meters are compatible with Mac. Just not this one :(

@Billy Ruffian - No it not the Optium Neo, its the freestyle insulinx - which is fantastic. Its weird that they have different software with different meters rather then just 1 piece of software.. like how iTunes works with all iPods and iPhones, it just makes sense haha
