frequent foamy urine with white bits!

Hi,

For four days now I am urinating every 40 minutes or so. I am drinking a lot of fluid and BS is in twenties. I am using novomix and controlling what i eat but the level is not reducing. I have started to use novorapid to assist in my quest to lower BS but to no avail. I can't understand why my BS is not coming down. At first there were white bits in my urine and now I have noticed that I can't see nothing but bubbles and foam when I go! - it's like a bubble bath!

I have been suffering from a cold, sore throat and chesty cough for a couple of weeks now, is this affecting my BS?

Hi Jono,
sounds like you've got a urine/kidney infection of some sort and you should see your doc immediately, especially as your levels are so high. Illness & infection can often cause rises in BG levels.
