Frequent Urination

Hi all,

Sorry - yet another question!

Since diagnosis I've been plagued by constant urination. Both the frequency and er, volume. I don't have problems during the night but it does seem worse in the evenings.

I'm in my early 30s, blood sugar readings are all good (4 - 6), not drinking lots or thirsty and consultant hasn't mentioned any probs with kidneys (yet)...

Is this a common feature of controlled diabetes? Should I see my GP about it? I'm becoming increasingly obsessed with the location of the nearest loo...

I hadn't thought of that - I don't seem to get bloated but i do drink a can of pepsi max at lunchtime - could it be that?

If you do not drink a lot then your body retains water thinking that it is dehydrated. If you then drink sufficient the excess will come off.Perhaps you are not drinking enough during the day.

Sometimes hormones does it too
When Im PMS I am at the toilet all the bloody time, and if I didnt already have it, i would think I was diabetic!

Testing shows no issues and it just rights itself eventually

Hi all,

It seems to have sorted itself - perhaps because I stopped worrying about it after you guys posted!

Thanks! x
