hi, is there anyone switched from apidra to novolog? what was your experienced? our insurance will no longer covered my son's apidra, they will only cover novolog insulin. I'm a bit concern if novolog will be as good as apidra?
thanks! :)

I believe Novolog (its called Novorapid here in the UK) has a slightly longer profile than Apidra but sure the onset time is pretty much similar - meaning they both begin to work approx 15mins after injecting.

@ivm18, Novorapid is said to peak around 90 mins after injecting and is all but exhausted after 4-5 hours, if you Google Insulin Profiles you should find some good graphs of all insulins available today.
