Frozen Shoulder

Hi was just wondering if there is any truth in frozen shoulder and diabetes being connected ive had this problem for months both shoulders now been type 2 for 20years now and getting all sorts of problems now
 
Endocrinologist Dr Richard Bernstein believes they are connected and he explains why in an article that I can't access at the moment because his website is down. But here's the link to it for when it become available again:

Something to do with the effect of glucose on tendons, I think.
