the reading i took was from the water...was curious and glad i wasIt isn't just a matter of blood glucose levels with fruit. It is the fructose, which isn't digested in the stomach. It is dealt with in the liver, much like alcohol, and ends up stored as fat in the liver. This is why fruit is not a good idea for insulin resistant T2s.

Just to say when I said peel I mean just the zest bit not the pithy white bit as that will make it bitter, peel the fruit with a potato peeler in strips then squeeze it into the water to release the oils to flavour it - then just drop it in - make sure you "bruise" the mint/herbs as well for the same reasoni will try halving the fruit
i was so excited at the thought of being able to drink fruity water
will get cucumber, i do have a lame looking mint plant
my 11 year old is happy to eat the fruit
thank you i will crush and rip them mint leavesYep that right just crush them in your fingers or even tear them up - don't chop or cut them though as you leave the best bit on the chopping board
Looks good - never used cinnamon let me know how it tastes - I usually leave mine over night but I have used it after 4 hours
i just fancied a change, we buy the drinks from there but the kids insist on helping me drink it so decided on the infuser bottle and only my 11 year old wants to share and he cant wait until im done so he can eat whats leftAldi do litre bottles of flavoured water - I bought all four flavours when I went in this week - very nice.
