I dont like to compare but I have received excellent care and attention from my Nurse, she treats me like an adult and we make joint decisions, for testing I was given a meter that was acceptable to the Health Trust and test as required, ie if I think it necessary. I also purchased contour strips which are not covered but have enough for twelve months of intermittent testing (I like the record keeping and use of the usb contour) We are all trying our best and there are different approaches, but as a consultant once said to me when I was tired of all the appointments and advice. "You have got to have a life there is room for choice" I wish you all well.
