Hi there,

I've been diabetic for four years now (i was diagnosed when i was 11) and have had a pretty hard time getting used to things, regulating sugars and adjusting my lifestyle just that extra bit. i have had inconsistant hospital support and so have never really understood the consequences or importance of having regular sugar but as i have recently found out, they can be really upsetting.

since then i have decided to do everything that i can to help other diabetics just like me and to support a charity called JDRF (juvenile diabetes research fund) the only charity solely dedicated to finding a cure for the terrible effects that can happen. It was first started by a group of mums and this made me sure it was the right charity as these people have gone through diabetes first hand, just as we have.
so, i'm running 10km in october for the charity and hope to raise as much money as i physically can in the time i have left!! so for everyone linked to the disease, so we can all live a more reassured and relaxed life as diabetics , go onto www.justgiving.com/uivt

please give as much as you can, reasearch is expensive and can only be moved forward by our help!!
thankyou soo much and we can get through this together <3 xx
