Galvus Met 50/1000 mg side effects

I have been taking Galvus Met 50/1000 mg from the past 1 month for my diabetes 2 type. I take this twice in a day, once in the morning after the breakfast with Gliclazide and once in the evening after dinner. Of course, the blood sugar is under control, but I get constipation and muscle weakness. Is it due to some side effect?
