The trouble is, they are all private run-for-profit organisations.
If you want their power then you pay the price or go without. Before our publicly owned utilities were sold off, national unit prices bore some relation to provision costs, but now they can charge what they like. . . and don't forget to add the exorbitant 'green taxes' that those mouthy do-gooders kept on about..oh yes, and of course there is 5% EU's VAT to add :twisted:
