Hi Everybody
I was diagnosed T2 8 years ago and have been diet controlled for the last 7 years . My diet has always been fish , chicken , avacado , full fat yogurts , cheese , and for a while Lindt’s 90.% but stopped that as felt dizzy/nausea next day . Fast forward to a year ago and I was advised to start eating fatty cuts of meat and a few of these omega 3 capsules a day . I also started to have the occasional desert when out for dinner . I noticed two things , firstly I was suffering from indigestion / tight stomach which took ages to settle on occasions , I also started feeling really bad nausea and weakness after the deserts . Fast forward to Easter - I ordered this egg from a specialist outlet and eat some on arrival and felt worse nausea than ever the next day which continued then stopped then I can’t remember exactly when this nausea mild to moderate was on and off daily , I then 3 weeks ago got the vomiting bug and now have mild nausea , hair damp in morning like a virus is connected to this . I’ve cut out anything sweet , the meat, yogurts , blue cheese and still can’t shake this empty stomach /Nausea feeling on and off daily . Any tips or experience folks ?

It can take a while to get over a stomach bug, but as you had nausea prior to those after starting the Omega 3 capsules, have you tried stopping those?

Very grateful for your reply Hopeful. Yes it certainly dragging on , I spoke to the a Doc today about the Omeprazole I’ve been on for a week or so and he said to take for another week as they often take two weeks to work , I’m trying to keep an open mind on that one lol.

Regards vitamins and supplements I’ve stopped the omega 3 capsules and liquid form to . Vit C & Vit D , few drops of iodine , magnesium citrate for the bowel movements , all daily , not to forget the chia and flax seed .
Maybe the Omeprazole will get rid of the nausea and the burping in the coming week .

I don’t fancy an endoscopy , hopefully they’ll have a less evasive method to check the gut ?
