Hi, I just started a trial of the libre 2. My blood glucose is currently sitting at 2.9. this seems very low to me. I was told I was prediabetic in July (42--so not terribly high) and I've been lowish carb med ever since and reduced to 39. I also lost just under a stone going from BMI of 21.5 to 19.7. I plan to relax a bit with my diet over Christmas as I've been fairly hardcore. I'm approaching it like an experiment so today I started using a libre 2. My reading was 4.2 before lunch. Two hours after lunch it dropped to 3.9 and then 2.9 where it's sitting just now. What's happening? For lunch I had two boiled eggs, a slice of luvtoliv bread and real butter, whole fat greek yoghurt, a pear, flaxseed and maybe 7 almonds. I generally feel tired after eating but this isn't as marked since cutting the carbs, especially refined and white carbs (no rice, potatoes, pasta etc) do I have reactive hypoglycemia? What's going on?

I should say that apart from my vision being a bit blurry and tingling in hands(this is a common issue) I feel ok. However, the reason I was tested for diabetes in July was two near fainting episodes complete with profuse sweating and palpitations. I'm now wondering if these were hypos? But then why would my HBA1c be elevated?
