Has anyone experienced this pleasant way to exercise. My daughter gave me the information ( Geocatching ), you somehow use your phone to find one of many little boxes hidden all overt the place. ( the info tells you how easy or difficult the walk etc; will be )
We found our first box in a village 2 weeks ago then a different box in Warwickshire on Sunday. When you find a container you may sign your name or exchange a item etc.( there are simple rules to follow and it is free of coarse ) It gives you a great feeling when you achieve a find.
I know that most mobile phone these days are very clever, yet is is worth trying yours out to see if it works.
Great fun for all.

Yes, I've done some in the past, great fun We don't have a mobile phone (shock horror) but have a GPS running watch which you can use . Actually though we can often find the cache with a map plus the clues.
Thanks for reminding me, I stopped doing it because we had to travel too far but I've just checked the site and found lots of new caches which are relatively near.
Heres the site link https://www.geocaching.com/

There's an ancient form of it on Dartmoor called letter boxing :)

It's good fun.
I do it when we're on holiday.
