I decided that I'm going to make one of these myself (I've seen them around the forum). I've decided to do it a little different though, I've always been fond of taking photos and keeping track, so from now on I will post not only my blood sugar levels, but what I ate and did for exercise, all that. You guys are welcome to comment here and there, offer suggestions on the way I approach things. I really would like to get better.

So, here's my first post. A nasty one, but I look forward to seeing the changes.

This morning before breakfast my levels were 14.5
(Note: I have been very sick, so this might be why they're so high too, I've not been eating anything sweet or carb filled.)

I ate 2 small scrambled eggs with no salt and parsley flakes, 1 small banana and a slice of mixed grain vogels with no butter or tablespread.
Then I took my 80mg tablet of Glicazide and my 20mg of Omeprazole for my stomach (wouldn't this be bad for my sugar levels since it has sugar in it?).

All up I used 244 cals. 7 fat, 36g carbs and 14mg sodium.
So it's not too bad, hopefully I won't get hungry too fast after.

My plans for exercise today are 15 minutes on the exer-cycle, 30 minute walk and my regular dancing practice of two hours.
Wish me luck guys!!! <3 xo

Two things stand out.

Bananas are a no go fruit for many of us. They are packed with carbs and are digested really quickly and easily.

No butter. Don't miss out on your fats. It sounds contrary to what you normally are told when trying to lose weight but adding fat will really help you fill up and stop you feeling hungry.

On a good note, eggs really are one of our staple foods, full of goodness and very little bad.

Just read on the other thread your problem with fats, so ignore that comment.

I can't actually eat fats, cos I have a bad stomach. IBS and no gallbladder, the Doctor's told me to skip fats, which is making everything hard, because I'm always hungry. I'm just at a loss, but I didn't know that about Banana's, thank you!
