Get eating broccoli!

Thanks for the link, broccoli is so nice too and versatile, steam, sprinkle with sesamme seeds, bit of Maggi, yummy, or with a cheese sauce, add smoked bacon or ham and cream, oh I must have some for dinner tonight

All the best

Steamed, and smothered with ceasar dressing - even the kids love it!

Hehehe Siobhan, I know this is one vegetable, a bit like brussels sprouts, you either love it or hate it, I used to hate it until I was invited for dinner and had to force myself to eat some of it at least just to show good manners, and it was suprisingly nice, it was smothered in cheese sauce and I convinced myself it was just green cauliflower and found hey, this is actually nice, it was not soggy or smelly as before, but just right.

If you really cant stand it, I am sure you eat other good health giving veggies, so dont worry too much

As I understand it brassicas are also helpful in preventing macular degeneration. My Dad has this and has been told to eat his greens. Personally - YUK but I may now have to find a way of eating a few everynow and then - ie with cheese sauce etc as above.

Have you tried dips like Houmous, tzatziki, cheese dips etc and have batons of carrots, celery and tiny heads of raw broccoli-delish!

Steam brassicas, Don't put into water. Taste and texture are better and there's less smell. Boiling veggis ruins them.
