I don't get sugar cravings after eating strawberries...

I manage that with ease.

That's correct although the article does say ''5 portions of fruit and vegetables'' but this is the minimum. My view is more the better!

If you're low carbing can't you still manage some portions of fruit and veg that are low carb? Some that come to mind are: mushrooms, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, courgettes, aubergine, avocado, celery. A fruit juice that you may be able to manage is the Ocean Spray Cranberry Light which has 1.5g carbs per 100ml.
