Hi,
I was just wondering how other girls' periods effect their blood sugar readings ? I tend to range higher ; any one I'm the same situation got any advice ?

Thanks x

Hormones and all that good stuff always makes my sugars through the roof! I changed my ratio so I doubled the amount of insulin I would usually have :) ask your doctor :) "x

It's pretty much a problem for most women/girls whatever way you want to say it lol .

Some experience highs some experience lows . I go low when on or due on lol . You just have to go along with it unfortunately and adjust where and when necessary.
Periods are a right pain !!

:):):)

I'm not a teen but I'll weigh into this...I've noticed my average readings are 1-1.5 higher around a week before my period. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but the cycle does seem to be repeating itself.

I'm always higher during my period! I hate it, but I'm lucky enough to only have to tolerate it for three days.
