So I tried to make a new ID - zand2 - I got the reply "We are not currently accepting new registrations at this time" (Or something like that). Does anyone else get this message?

Think you need someone with a bit of techy knowledge like @sanguine or @Enclave as I doubt Giverny will be back till tomorrow

I'm flattered you should think so @satindoll but there's nothing I can do about the forum! However, there have certainly been new members on the forum joined over the weekend so it can't be a fundamental problem (or action by Giverny pending sorting other issues out). Let's hope that tomorrow morning she can offer some explanation to @zand otherwise we might start to think there's something sinister going on ...
 
Glad to hear things are fixed for you guys - I'm still not entirely sure what the problem was.

Hi Giverny, it may be we just had gremlins that go fed up playing their games and moved on, but we just want to tell you that although we may get a bit testy at times we do appreciate everything you do to keep the forum up and running in apple pie order, and that you took the time to consider our request and act on it in such a way that we felt we were being listened to.

Noooooo ... I have no techy knowledge .. I just ask the wife ... She can sort out most problems ( not behind the forum .. That's for the admin) but she will offer wonderful words of wisdom if she cannot help ... Like things happen for reasions .. We may not know what that reasion is now .. We have to wait for the future .. And remember this the past.
Deep stuff like that !
