Like many of you i have a many and varied diet/lifestyle. What if anything would you give up for lent food wise. As fun or serious as you like
I am looking at dark choc or nuts but it's a hard one but maybe cheese

Nothing - I've given up enough lol - will still put in my "penny box" every day though then usually give it to a little local charity

I am giving up nothing, as I do not know or care what "lent" is all about.

All though I "lent" my partner $50.00 when she run short the other day.

I consider nuts, chocolate and cheese to be necessities rather than 'treats' so I'm not giving anything up

Like @lovinglife I have given up enough, foodwise.
Plenty of other directions to go in - if i wanted...

Dog walks in the rain springs to mind.

I’m with lovinglife, I’ve given up enough!

I could not give up cheese! Chocolate possibly and that’s from a chocoholic how my life has changed!

Years ago I got a little fed up being interrogated annually about New Years Resolutions and Giving Up Things for Lent and decided on permanent one off solutions, so:
  • my New Years resolution was not to have any further New Years resolutions
  • For Lent I gave up giving up things for Lent ever again
Both have worked well for me over the years as I've always been able to keep to them...
