Gliclazide and Driving

No idea if DVLA require testing on Gliclazide, when I was on that I didn't let them know, now I'm just on insulin I did have to inform them and they specify a meter that has a memory of a certain number of tests and even though I have Libre now I still have to have my meter on me when I drive. I don't think the app would be enough if you input the data manually?

Yes, Gliclazide can cause hypos and therefore it is a requirement to test before you drive, and to carry your meter with you.

Yes because it lows blood glucose and can cause hypos

Yes I do the same. I test before I drive and take jelly babies in the car. The DVLA wrote back saying ok to drive as long as I test prior to driving.

I'm a HGV Driver and yes you need to inform DVLA. I have to test no more than 2 hours before I start driving then every 2 hours whilst at work..
