Having tried Metformin also the slow release, I went to the Dr in tears I couldn not stand the diarohea any longer and that was after a year of taking it I could not go anywhere. after having come off this, I am now taking Sitagliptin 100mg 1 per day and after three months of this the Dr has now prescribed Gliclazide to be added to the Sitagliptin, since taking these, I have had a few episodes that I have felt sick, and dizzy with sore head and had to lie down for an hour until it goes, this is a few hours after taking these tablets in the morning. I also take lanziprazole, canderstan and bendroflumethiazide. I also have not felt tiredeness like this, I am in my bed for 7.30pm most nights and sleep off and on until 7.30am then I am at work all day, i feel I have no life, is this normal, any suggestions folks

Are you testing your blood glucose levels, as gliclizide can cause hypos.
Your symptoms sounds very much like hypos.
