Gliclazide and weight

Hi,
I have been on Gliclazide for about three weeks and I go to slimming world.
In the last two weeks, I have put on 2lb and this week 2 1/2lb.
I have been using the recipes from here. I am not sure what is going on ?

Can you be more specific? What are the recipes you have used?
 
Mainly the recipes of the Diabetes UK website. I am hoping for a loss this week.

Gliclazide increases the production of insulin.
If your diet was affected by a lack of insulin you might need to reassess what you are eating in the way of carbs in order to lose weight. You need to be aware that you can go too low - but you should have been provided with the means to check your blood glucose levels as part of the treatment.
