I hope someone can help!!
I have recently been diagnosed with type 1.5 diabetes after spending 16 years as a type 1 on insulin. I have now for the pas few months been taking gliclazide, which seems to be working very well-my last HBA1C (is that correct?!) was 6.2.
I have read that gliclazide cannot be used in pregnancy as it is harmful to the baby. I cannot however find anything to tell me WHY this is! Does anyone know??
