It was only much later that I realised that it mainly pushes your Pancreas to produce more insulin. Not that helpful; I was also at the time diagnosed as type 1 - which of course should have meant that I was no longer able to.. I can't really fathom why I was prescribed Gliclazide.. I think the idea was to wring out every last bit of my Pancreas while we could...You must be doing something right to be holding close to remission though!!</blockquote>
