I cut out all refined sugars and reduced my carb intake. My own monitoring of my daily average BG showed a steady decline that took until February this year to bottom out at 8.4 (daily average). It rose a bit over the summer and then in October I reduced my carb intake further and started eating more fats and my BG showed a marked drop to a  low of 7.9, though it rose to 7.95 a couple of days ago due to a couple of unusually high lunch time readings of 10.4 pre lunch and 11.7 post lunch - may have been due to forgetting my meds the previous day.</p></blockquote><p></p>
