My Hba1c was previously 103mmols but has come down a bit to 81mmols.

I currently take Gliclazide and the maximum dose I'm able to take.

Dapagliflozin has been discussed but I've been told my blood sugars are still too high for this. So, the DSN is discussing with my Dr and the team regarding Pioglitazone which I've never heard of.

Pro's and Cons of each please as I'm nervous taking something I know very little about.

Thank you.
