Glucomen website

Re: Glucomen website

Yes. I am.

Just got my first meter and got my fasting morning level of 7.4. Just going to have my breakfast and see how much difference it makes.

I went onto the Glucomen website and like you cannot register. The only need for registration as far as I can see is to accept repeat prescriptions from your GP.

I really hope my GP will give me a repeat prescription of the test strips and lancets.Although I think the lancets can be used more than once?

Anyway...10 test strips aren't going to last that long are they. I am going to be testing at least 3 times a day to start with.

Wait 'til Monday morning and give them a bell.

I am highly impressed with the Glucomen product which arrived free of charge. And the lancing wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be as I REALLY hate needles...

Re: Glucomen website

Glad it's not just me lol yeah I'm impressed with product too , 10 strips will only last about 2 days for me so yeah I am hopeing GP will accept perscription too . Will give a couple of days to see if I can get in then . X

Re: Glucomen website

So glad that I saw this thread because I thought it was my pc playing up. I spent an hour clearing my cache, updating my java and checking my firewall, etc. D'oh!

Talking of Glucomen, I love my Lx Plus. I requested a data cable to download my readings on my pc, but I'm having difficulty with it. It either says 'meter not found' or (when it does find it) it says that my serial number doesn't match. The real problem is that my serial number does sort of match except that the program says it's looking for blahblah when infact the characters it identifies are the same but they're in upper case. Grrr!
