Glucose Intolerance and Vit B3

Hi

New to the site, but I was diagnosed with Glucose intolerance about 6 years ago, and in that time I've lost 6 1/2 stone and started playing Wheelchair Basketball (Anyone can play and join in. Friday Night. Ferndown Leisure Centre, Ferndown, Dorset 6.30 till 8.30)

But I started to take Vitamin B3 for my Reynauds Disease and while reading about it, it said that it may also help with Blood Sugars. Hmmm.... I've got to take it anyway for my hands and feet so I may as well give it a bash.

Hey presto... no insane cravings for sugary stuff anymore after 13 days!!!! It's fantastic, and I'm also losing more weight again, without even being on a diet as I'm not stuffing my face with sugar anymore.

OK, after Wheelchair Basketball, I do pop in an extra bar, but otherwise after 40+ years of constant sweet cravings, it's just vanished.

How weird is that? I've never heard of B3 with Niacin before and it does 2 things for the price of one.

 :D
