I'll give it a little more time.
A typical work day has consisted of a few slices of Roast Chicken, or a boiled egg for breakfast. Mid morning snack of cheese, or olives (about 5 kalamata olives). Lunch has been chicken or tuna with a green salad and some avocado (which I've just checked on and has more carbs than I thought). A glass of almond milk during mid afternoon. Dinner has been varied. Last night was an omelette with broccoli, mushrooms and cheese. The night before was steak with spinach, cabbage, and mushrooms in a creamy cheese sauce.
I drink mostly water with the exception of the afternoon almond milk, a cup of coffee with cream in it first thing, and one black filter coffee mid morning from a coffee club at work.
Prior to Saturday my numbers were anywhere from 9mmol to 17mmol. So they have dropped, just not as much as I expected! I guess this is all about tweaking the diet!
