Glucose Monitor

Hello,

I have a question regarding glucose monitors.

I test my blood glucose levels three to five times daily. I have been using an Accu-Chek Compact Plus glucose monitor for years. I like this unit for a couple reasons.
  1. It utilizes a “test strip canister” rather than having to insert a new test strip for each test.
  2. I can download all data from the monitor to my computer then run an Excel spreadsheet for review.
My problem/question is Roche Diabetes Care (maker of Accu-Chek) has discontinued support including availability of test strips for the Accu-Chek Compact Plus. Therefore I am in the market for a new tester. Does anyone know if there are any other glucose monitors available that utilize some method of multiple test strips vs. having to insert a new strip for each test? Secondly, I would like this unit to allow for data tracking and computer download. In essence, I would like a glucose monitor similar to the Accu-Chek Compact Plus.

The Accu-Chek Mobile may just do it for you as a worthy replacment?

 
Thank you for your reply. I did some research on it and it most certainly sounds like what I'm looking for. Unfortunately it's not available in the USA - have no idea why not but. . . .
