After c45 years of good control, I've noticed over the past couple of weeks I'm having to take a lot more insulin to control my diabetes, I'm not ill or gain weight or reduced my excersise.
some days I'm have to double my insulin to get the glucose down I'm also noticing my glucose can spike very quickly.
I'm be off to the docs soon but has any one else experienced this sudden change

1) what type of diabetes do you have? (guessing T1?)
You say you aren't ill but I do wonder whether you could have something without symptoms, as that would be the first question I would ask if i experienced this. (54 years T1)

Hi Ellie, You are correct. I'm T1 (45 yrs)
As I've said, I'm certainly not ill, but you may be correct i could be coming down with something .
I'm managing to get the levels down by lots of exercise, but I'm not sure that's maintainable.

Hi Antje, i haven't changed my levermire dosage , however, things have slightly improved. The only change I've done over the past few days is increased my water intake. It seems to be helping...
