hi i done a self glucose tolarance test myself this morning took blood it was 7.0 dank 330 can lucasade test agaun after 1 hr my blood was 11 .1 after 2hrs it was 5.4 then few mins i took it again it was 4.7 is that normal

That doesn't sound too bad, but you should see a doctor if you are worried

Hi I think you should go to your doctor to get tested for diabetes as the first reading you had of 7 would indidcate possible diabetic that is im assuming that it was taken after a overnight fast?

also a 330ml can of lucozade is not enough it is a slighly higher quantity that is used for an accurate test I dont know how many mls it is just know it is 75g when I had the test carried out at my surgery I had to drink a full bottle of lucozade plus another small amont in a cup.

have you been having diabetic symptoms? what led to carry out this test? you must have had some reason to want to do it like some symptoms of diabetes so I think it would be best to see your gp.

back in jan i started getting so hungry all time would wake up and could of ate my husband ha ha , i could never look at food in a morning never mind eat it ,i was going loo all time and my mouth was so dry id sweat bad in night and at same time i got pain in my leg and foot, i been testing my blood for 2 weeks now 2hrs after food it always in the 7.6 and above i no when it in the 7s as i go so hungry and my head goes funny also if it drops less then 5 , of a morning it always 5.8 to 6.4 then eat toast it goes up in the 7s thankyou 4 the reply

It would be helpful to have a little more detail so that we can help. When were you diagnosed and what meds are you on? Tell us what your diet is - eg what did you eat yesterday?

i havent been diagnoed yet only seen nurse got see doctor this week, it doesnt matter what i eat it always over 7. 2hrs after i eat
 
went doctor today he told me i diabetic and i got nerve damage that what the pain in leg and foot are , give me painkillers till i go clinic, i just cant get my sugar levels right i to high or to low , my sugar was 3.9 before ,then it went 7.8 ant idears of foods i can eat to help me till i go clinic, and any help with the pain in leg and foot
