Try as I might over the last 18 months on LCHF I cannot get control over morning high blood levels.
It typically starts around 4am reading of 5 then steadily rises till around lunch to an average of around 8-9 before falling again steadily to as low as high 3s-4 by 5pm. It then seems to level out between 5-5.5 till the next morning.
These morning readings are remarkably similar no matter what I eat for breakfast be it very low carb or indeed no carb or a more carby meal.
My question is can you tailor glyclazide to maybe just use in the morning to combat annoying highs.
When prescribed glyc in the past I was told to take it with meals so it was not targeting highs as such.
