Well today was my first day with insulin in my pump.

I've been live since about 12:30 and had a few ups and downs, sure I'll get there.

Went a bit high at dinner time with 16.2 but crashed down to 5.5 two hours later and 2.9 another hour after that.

I'm quite impressed with how the hospital have been handling it. I only left at 3pm, they called at 4:30pm to see how I was, a DSN called again at 7:45pm and will also call at 9:45pm. Seem like they're going to be a big help.

Good luck and all the best. I hope you can iron out some of those little wrinkles and creases

Best wishes RRB :)

Been ok today, sitting a little too high at about 9 but have a higher basal kicking in at 3 to combat last nights high.

9 is not bad! Do they have you up testing every 3 hours overnight this week?

Well still not too many highs or lows and all going ok.

Away to start the proper Basal Testing from tonight and through next week. Never really done Basal Testing so it will be interesting. Doing the overnight ones first but not sure how I will get on with the fasting tests.
