I see in sainsbury that you can get some low carb ready meals. So I think that the big money making food firms have decided that this idea has legs. I don't know anyone else that does this, but I am trying to convert a few! .

Now, if we could all spread the word even more so airlines might offer food we actually want to eat? I've given up hope so always take food on board now - then I don't ruin a trip by eating nasty carbs

Trust me, it's regimented (many times by the catering company and not the airline despite the fact they comply with IATA regs) and meal types form a long list. There is not one for diabetics .... yet
